Hiring Demographic Data Research, Banner Engineering
During this project I was given the opportunity to meet Banner Engineering's local Human Resource Manager and the Lead Engineer to discuss hiring problems and the company's concerns with their upcoming expansion. This project helped me realize how extensive the hiring process is, and how companies are always contemplating hiring.

Menstrual Product Distribution, NSU
Lacking access to menstrual products prohibits many people from being able to go to school or work. This project made me aware that even though I do not have these problems, if I did, there are no services to attain these products. I learned that school systems freely give out condoms to prevent pregnancy, but will not help people who do not have a choice when menstruating.

Public Relations Plan Creation, Three22 Kitchen + Cocktails
I researched different facets of media that local business should use to expand their pubic relation possibilities. I learned that some people really love their jobs, and that is the number one factor when creating a product that is matched with great service.
Northern State University Idea Pitch Competition
I was one of seven finalists in an entrepreneurial idea pitch competition. I was paired with two faculty advisors who helped further develop my idea, and then presented in front of a panel of four judge and a packed audience.
My idea which was a Community Bus Transportation System was awarded the People's Choice Award for Most Needed in Aberdeen
Extra Curricular Activities
Lambda Pi Eta
The honor society of the National Communication Association. I have learned that communication is complex, and participation is what each individual makes of it.
Speech and Debate Club
I started as a debate student and then switched to speech competitions. Debate helped me gain the confidence to ask for what I want and persuade others to agree with those ideals. I learned how to create persuasive and informative speeches in order to provoke the audience into questioning societal norms.
TRIO SSS
I am a first generation college student meaning that I am the first generation in my family to receive a bachelors degree. TRIO SSS helped me contact and utilize campus services as well as participate in service projects for children.
